Around Gainesville, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across Georgia are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

Gainesville is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Gainesville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I was able to get an appointment right away. Everyone in the office was very nice. I had questions and they were explained thoroughly to my satisfaction. The doctor.’s Assistant explained every step along the way that was going to happen and checked on me trying to help me feel comfortable. With my root canal, I only took numbing medication. I felt no pain and the doctor was very. thorough to be sure I didn’t feel any pain. The whole appointment took less than 45 minutes.. I highly recommend this office

I’m a horrible dental patient, meaning my anxiety of a childhood dentist is off the charts. However, going here expecting a root canal I was shaking. Once I met the staff, had x rays taken it was so much better! The ladies upfront, completing my exam and just in general moving around the office were fantastic! I was still nervous, but not shaking. After meeting Dr J Ames I had a sense of calm, peace and felt I could breathe at this point. We ( family and I ) had recently lost a very dear and beloved family member. Dr Ames, said β€œ go take care of family and get back in here, we will take care of you”! I have a pretty large access and will need a root canal, but with that being said- not a happy camper, but whew what a relief! I had, wanted and needed to be there for my husband, his brother had just passed away. Dr. Ames was straight forward, kind, calm and just made me feel okay - peaceful about the upcoming root canal. 10/ 10. 5 stars for far for this lady! Will update after root canal, but after praying and setting the appointment I don’t anticipate any issues.

I was scheduled within two days and had my consult and root canal the same.day. The office was pleasant. The office staff and assistants/techs made the root canal experience less stressful. Dr. Ames was professional and helpful with all explanations and was gentle. I didn't experience any pain during the procedure. Thanks for saving my tooth! I would definitely recommend them for a hassle free root canal.

Dr Ames and his staff were wonderful and provided excellent care. This was my first (and hopefully last) root canal. Dr Ames and his team did an excellent job of explaining the process and what to expect. They made sure I was comfortable and pain-free throughout the process. I was able to schedule quickly, and the treatment was also faster than I had expected. I would highly recommend them for Anyone who needs endodontic work!
